For over 20 years, Andrew has been helping business owners, professionals, and families plan for their financial future. He partners with each client to help them create a highly customized plan focused to help them achieve their goals, objectives, and dreams. His goal with every client is to help them find the balance that allows them to enjoy what they have now while minimizing risk and protecting their future.
Andrew received his bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 1992. Prior to beginning his career in financial services, he taught High School for one year at Shelbyville Central High School (Tennessee) and worked for the Veterans Administration from 1993 until 2000 (Atlanta).
Andrew began his career as a financial professional with New York Life and is affiliated with Eagle Strategies, LLC, as a Registered Investment Adviser. He is also a Registered Representative with NYLIFE Securities, LLC, and holds Series 6, 7, and 63 licenses with FINRA. He is a Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), and has been a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) for over 20 years.
After transitioning to the financial services industry, he obtained his Masters Degree and four advanced designations from the American College of Financial Services: Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS), Chartered Advisor for Senior Living® (CASL®), Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter®(CLU®) and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow® (LUTCF®). CA Insurance License #0H51816
*The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), The Premier Association of Financial Professionals, is recognized globally as the standard of excellence for life insurance sales performance in the insurance and financial services industry.
Andrew grew up between North Carolina, Germany, and Tennessee as the child of an Army family. Settling into Tennessee in 7th grade, the family moved back to the family farm – located on Pickens Hollow Road in Marshall County – hence the namesake of his organization.
Prior to entering the financial services industry, Andrew received a bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 1992 and worked as a Medical Rating Specialist for the Veterans Administration until 2000. He began his career at New York Life in 2000, and that relationship remains today. He obtained his Masters of Science in Financial Services in 2019.
When not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 25 years, Tammy, and children, Bryson and Alexis. The family’s favorite thing to do away from the office is travel. They are huge fans of the National Park System, hiking, and restaurant tourism (visiting those restaurants featured on popular food television shows). Finally, Andrew and his family are avid fans of Vanderbilt football, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Atlanta Hawks.
Andrew believes strongly in giving back to community and charity. He currently and actively supports Camp Twin Lakes, Hopewell Baptist Church, Rising Church, Association for Experimental Education, The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, and Shriner’s Hospital.
